NX Data Hub - NEXTracker

The NX Data Hub allows project developers, asset owners and system operators to collect the data from NX Horizon™ solar trackers and bring it together in one central place, making the job of integrating all that data into their own plant SCADA much simpler. NX Data Hub incorporates a suite of advanced data- and software-driven digital services for both tracker and energy storage systems that can dramatically   improve asset management efficiency and lower operating costs. Through machine learning, predictive modeling and other technologies, this purpose-built, utility-grade data management platform continuously monitors the health and performance of the individual tracker components and overall system operations via our secure communications network. It has been installed on Villanueva's 754 MW site in Torreon, northern Mexico

STI-H1250 - STI Norland

STI-H1250 es el único seguidor solar multi-fila auto alimentado del mercado. El diseño balanceado del mismo unido a un actuador accionado por un motor de corriente continua y una reductora de varias etapas permite combinar las fortalezas de los sistemas mono-fila y multi-fila actualmente disponibles, eliminando los puntos débiles de cada una de estas configuraciones.  La estrategia para desarrollar un producto líder en el mercado no puede sólo centrarse en fabricar un seguidor barato, sino que debe ser robusto, confiable y con el menor mantenimiento posible durante toda la vida útil del mismo, siendo éste es el pilar clave en la filosofía de STI Norland para el desarrollo de nuevos productos.  Comparado con otros seguidores multi-fila del mercado, los sistemas auto-alimentados como nuestro seguidor, permiten ahorros en la inversión (CAPEX) al eliminar la necesidad de instalar una alimentación en corriente alterna dedicada al equipo, así como el costo de un eventual sistema de respaldo que permita al sistema alcanzar la posición de defensa en caso de ser necesario. Por este mismo motivo, este sistema maximiza la producción durante toda la vida del proyecto reduciendo el consumo interno.  En el caso de los seguidores mono-fila, nuestro seguidor permite disminuir en un 80% el número de actuadores y controladores requeridos. Esto representa no sólo un ahorro en el suministro (CAPEX) sino también una economía durante la operación del proyecto (OPEX) al reducirse proporcionalmente las horas de mantenimiento preventivo y el riesgo de mantenimiento correctivo.  Gracias a la dedicación de todo el equipo de STI Norland, así como a la implicación de otras empresas del sector, ha sido posible desarrollar este producto, único en el mercado. Nos sentimos orgullosos de haber instalado 36MW del mismo en 2017 y estar suministrando 400 MW en estos momentos, lo que demuestra la calidad del producto y la confianza de nuestros clientes.

Solar Lithium Ion Battery Back Up Systm - CPM Energía Solar

 CPM Solar with leading German technology partners SMA and Tesvolt completed first scalable Solar Lithium Ion Battery Back Up System in Mexico.  The Ayamonte Lithium Ion Solar Back Up Project is Mexico’s first scalable Solar-Battery Back Up System with Lithium Ion technology. The project, located in the city of Guadalajara uses four SMA Sunny Island inverters and a 50kwh Tesvolt Lithium Ion Battery bank, as well as an AC Coupled 12 KWp SMA powered Solar System.     The project's advantages include possible full independence of the Grid, Back Up function in case of Grid Failure, increased self-consumption for higher profitability, zero pollution and a scalability that allows to back up residential houses as well as whole factories or industrial sites. Furthermore, with this technology it is possible to shift loads and therefore reduce peaks during highest energy consumption. This can potentially lead to significant energy savings for high energy consumers with tariffs such as OM and HM among others.    

 

HEM Inverter - Power Electronics

El inversor de media tensión HEM de Power Electronics está diseñado para las plantas fotovoltaicas a gran escala que requieren tanto las ventajas de una solución de inversor central, como también la arquitectura modularidad.   El HEM puede alcanzar una potencia nominal de 3.6MVA, y ofrece una amplia ventana MPPT. También tiene la ventaja añadida de tener un transformador de media tensión y toda la aparamenta.  Su arquitectura, compuesta por seis unidades de campo reemplazables (FRU), está diseñada para proporcionar una mayor disponibilidad y optimizar el rendimiento de la producción.  Su uso en plantas fotovoltaicas a gran escala proporciona un ahorro considerable en CAPEX, ya por contar con el trasformador y la aparamenta de media tensión reduciendo la necesidad de conexiones adicionales entre los lados de BT y MT.  Gracias al sistema de refrigeración iCOOL3 Power Electronics el HEM es el primer inversor capaz de proporcionar un grado de protección IP65 con un sistema de refrigeración por aire y, como resultado, reducen el coste de OPEX.

With the growing trend of the digital world, all industries are combining their products with digital information, communication and cloud technology. Bifacial Module - JinkoSolar

Bifacial Type P Module means the way rear side of a cell generates not only from front side,unlike conventional cell  structure generating only from front cell. When optimized, Bifacial module generates 20~30% more energy than conventional monofacial module. Dual glass reduces micro-cracking, snail trails, corrosions caused by moisture, sand, salt mist, acid, alkali. With the advised installation method, the power generation gain of P-type bifacial modules depends on the different ground environment. According to TUV, the irradiance on the rear side is 135 W/m2 Customer could evaluate the power generation gain according to the real condition of the installation site.

 

Team Track - Soltec

Solar PV trackers exist to increase the yield performance of installed PV power, comparative tracker yield-gain elements include both standard ones and site-dependent ones.    

Principal to site-dependent ones is asymmetric backtracking to modify tracking position in the case that terrain irregularities result in asymmetric inter-row shading in morning and afternoon hours, a case that is avoidable on flat terrain.    

Soltec’s TeamTrack asymmetric backtracking control solution achieves up to 6% yield-gain over standard tracking in that case, and it has a service record which corresponds to Soltec’s remarkable growth in the global tracker market in 2017.    

TeamTrack stands out significantly from existing solutions that incorporate equipment and feedback response mechanisms that add cost and vulnerability, choosing rather to perform the straightforward task more effectively with programmed operation and tracker level control.    

 TeamTrack is robust, reliable, and appropriate to the tracking mission of finding a lower cost of electricity, and it enables cost reduction of earth-grading on contours and steps furthermore avoiding the related environmental impacts and carbon dioxide emissions.
